Westdale Middle School is a Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) School. Teachers reward students with Hawk Bucks for having good behavior and being self-disciplined. PBIS provides a way for members of the school community to teach students school expectations, reward positive behavior, and positively address negative behavior to improve student achievement. As a part of the PBIS process, students are taught school rules and expectations, given opportunities to practice positive behavior, and in the event of misbehavior, they are given an opportunity to change their behavior. We are HAWKS!
